Tonight, Just Rest
A bedtime meditation
Let the unfinished things wait for a while. Settle into a comfortable rhythm of breathing, and give yourself a little room to rest.

Before you settle in
A few small preparations, then this time is yours to rest.
- Lie somewhere quiet and comfortable, with your body supported and a cover close by.
- Silence your phone, set an alarm if needed and choose a comfortable volume.
- If you would like a crystal beside you, place it on a stable bedside surface and touch it briefly before you begin.
- Use just a little effort when tightening muscles, and keep breathing. Skip any movement that hurts or feels uncomfortable; stay with the breath and awareness instead.

There is no hurry to sleep
Feel the mattress supporting you, notice your breath and gently tighten and release your hands, shoulders and toes. Then let your attention move through the body. When a thought appears, notice it and return to the breath.
Follow your own rhythm
Pause whenever you need to. When the guidance ends, you can stay lying down and rest.
03
A quiet presence beside you
Notice the feel of a crystal for a moment. Let this small gesture mark the beginning of your time to rest, then place it beside the bed and bring your attention back to your breath and body. You can follow the whole practice without a crystal.

Bedside companions
These three crystals are mentioned in the practice. Choose by personal preference; you do not need all three. The images are examples from our collections.
