Prehnite Tower

Weight: 700g

Prehnite's gentle green colour and rounded crystal forms can recall green grapes. Its English name honours Hendrik von Prehn, preserving a connection between a historical collector and the mineral.

Prehnite occurs in cavities and fractures in rock and can be found with minerals such as epidote. Its soft colour, translucent appearance and natural internal textures make it distinctive both as a mineral specimen and as a polished display piece.
