HISTORICAL BACKGROUND

Chrysocolla is a beautiful blue-green mineral known for its vivid colors and flowing patterns, often reminiscent of water and sky merging. In ancient Egypt, it was closely associated with the goddess Hathor, symbolizing love and feminine energy. Chrysocolla was used in amulets and thought to enhance wisdom, emotional balance, and protection.

The name Chrysocolla comes from the Greek words “chrysos” (gold) and “kolla” (glue), as it was originally used in ancient alchemy and metallurgy for soldering gold. Over time, its spiritual and healing qualities became more prominent, especially its associations with communication and emotional healing.
