HISTORICAL BACKGROUND

Strawberry Quartz is a member of the quartz family, characterized by its pale pink to deep red inclusions, which are usually composed of hematite, tiny garnet particles, or other oxides. These inclusions resemble strawberry seeds scattered within the crystal, hence its name, “Strawberry Quartz.”

The primary sources of Strawberry Quartz include Russia and Brazil. Russian Strawberry Quartz is known for its clarity and vibrant color, while Brazilian specimens, the most abundant globally, tend to have deeper colors with a higher density of inclusions. Despite sharing millions of years of geological history with other quartz types, Strawberry Quartz only became widely recognized and applied in recent years. Due to the growing interest in emotional and spiritual healing, Strawberry Quartz has gained prominence as a heart chakra crystal, valued for its powerful resonant energy that supports emotional healing.
